Safety Protocol

IN-STUDIO Appointments

Includes traditional makeup and

semi-permanent makeup services (micro blading and microshading)

  •  A signed waiver is required for each client prior to services. Waivers will be emailed to you after you have booked your appointment and should be signed electronically. 

  • Temperature checks will be done prior to starting services. If you have any signs of sickness please reschedule your appointment. 

  •  Traditional Makeup Clients are required to wear a mask for a portion of the service. Eye makeup will be completed first so that the mask can be worn for the majority of the appointment and removed towards the end to complete the face.

  • Semi-Permanent Makeup Clients (microblading and microshading) are required to wear a mask for the entirety of the service.

  • Multi-layer Cloth, N95, KN95 and surgical mask are acceptable but surgical masks are preferred. A mask will not be provided and is the responsibility of the client. If you forget your mask a mask will be provided and a $15 fee will be added to your service. Services will be refused if unable to comply.

  •  Only one client at a time will be allowed into the studio space. Please send me a text when you arrive for your appointment and I will let you know if I am prepared for you to come in. 

WHAT I'M DOING TO KEEP YOU SAFE

  • I will continue to clean & sanitize my work area, products and tools in between clients. 

  • All non-porous tools will be cleaned and disinfected after a single use. 

  • I will service one client at a time with a limited number of clients per day. 

  • If I feel illness of any kind or if I have been in contact with anyone who is ill I will cancel your appointment to protect you.

  • I will no longer use non disposable capes while servicing clients. (currently looking for a disposable option)

  • I will wear a face mask, face shield and vinyl gloves during services.

  • I will change PPE and dispose of all single use tools in between clients. 

CONSENT

 

Hannah Shalom Makeup Artistry, operated by Hannah Squirewell, is doing everything we can to protect you, our client, our community and our artists. To this extent, we will be following the Center of Disease Control (CDC) and local health department guidelines with regard to social distancing practices and sanitation in order to reduce the spread of Novel Coronavirus, or COVID-19. This will require only the person receiving the service will be allowed in the studio.

 

 All tools, stations and equipment will be sanitized and/or disinfected between each client. Artists will follow proper hand washing protocols between each client.

 

Hannah Shalom Makeup Artistry requires all individuals to utilize approved masks, either surgical masks, multi-layer cloth , N95 or KN95. It is also required of everyone to either wash or sanitize their hands upon arrival of your appointment, after using the restroom, sneezing, or coughing.

 

By filling out the form below and submitting, you agree to comply with the written instructions above and agree that you are at the salon at your own risk, releasing Aspire Salon from any liability relating to COVID-19. Failure to comply with these written instructions or verbal instructions from staff may result in your removal from the premises.
